India was called a world leader because of the indigenous cultures ethos and ethics that’s were preached for many years from the banks from Sindhu to Kaveri. One of the most promin features of this universal dominance was our own unique way of lifestyle. It was the indigenous living practices of the Dravido-Aryan societies that made them first in almost everything.
The Mother cow According to Indian scriptures is called ‘Kamadhenu’ meaning the “cow of plenty” who provides her owner whatever he desires. In reality also if we just economically, scientifically and spiritually try to analyse the productivity of a cow from its birth to death, we will be able to appreciate that “Kamadhenu” is not just a mythological idolisation of cow-the Hindu Goddess but it is an apt description of the Cow’s contribution in the living of life.
After attaining his spiritual enlightenment His Holiness Pramhansa Pragyanandaji took the task of “Go-seba”. According to Pramhansa ji Cow is not a just a symbol of religion but she is the symbol of our existence. In today’s world of unrest the real peace is in service to God. So swamiji in his various discourses inspired many youth minds to serve God by serving The Lords unique creation-Mother Cow or Go-Mata in the following 5 ways;

Who we are???
Pramhansa ji preached that if we serve Cow as our Mother,then there will be no need to fight for ‘go-surakshya’. Go-Seba according to him his very simple and if we follow only the aforesaid 5 principles we can do wonder.He often quotes ‘GABAH BISWASYS MATARAM’ citing different vedic,scientific & economic reasons for saying so.
Inspired by the guidance of Swamiji a group like minded young and noble peoples of odisha came together to form the GO SEBA SAMITI in the year 2014 and since then it has been working vigorous in the field following the 5 guidelines of Go SEBA as directed by Swamiji.
In 2015 A model Go SEBA Ashram under the name of GURU GOBIND GO SEBA ASHRAM was constructed at Puri, Odisha. With the blessings of swamiji and contribution from likeminded youths this Ashram is now functioning as a model shelter home for the street bulls and cows of Puri. As per an MoU with PURI MUNICIPALITY Guru Gobind Go seva ashram is now home to the stray bulls & cows of puri.

Work: Pramhansaji himself is leading from the front and is travelling to almost 120places every year since 2014 in every nook and corner of the state and creating awareness about Go SEBA in the name of GO-JAGARAN JATRA organised by ODISHA GO-SEVA SAMITI.
3rd INTERNATIONAL Go Navaratri
In order to,spread the word about Go SEBA to every nook of the world this year from the 20th October to 29th October 2017 the INTERNATIONAL GO NAVARATRI is being organised in the Holy City of Puri, Odisha. This function is being headed by the Odisha Go SEBA SAMITI and Guru Gobind GoSeba Ashram under the direct guidance and Supervision of H.H.Nischalanada Saraswati Maharaj aSankrachraya Puri as Mukhya Margadarshak, pujyaH.E.Gajapati Maharaj Shri DibyaSingh Deb as Chief Patronand H.H. Pramhansa Pragyanadaji as President of the Mahostava Samiti formed to celebrate the Navaratri.The datailed list of our organising committee,patrons & Advisors are enclosed.
Go Navaratri is the revival of the age old practise of worshiping and serving the mother cow. It is one of the oldest types of Navaratri that was almost forgotten in the country. This year it I’d going to be the 1st such function in Odisa and only the 3rd event in India.Volunteers from 150 blocks from the 30 districts are working day in and out in the making of this mega event. Around 10,000 Go-bhaktas from 750 Panchayat’s of Odisha and 5000 delegates from India and abroad are expected to participate in this 9day long grand celebration. Almost 1000 saints and sages from different parts of the country are going to grace this occasion.
Activities to be done : 7 yagyans
1. Gyan yagyan ( spiritual discourse on Cow)
2. Dhyaan yagyan (meditation of Gomata)
3. Naam yagyan (Akhanda Nama Sankirtan preceded by a big agar Sanirtan where in more than 10000 people are expected to participate.)
4. Ghruta yagyan ( fire ceremony using the product of only indegineos cow)
5. Arna yagyan (Prasad for all G-Bhakta)
6. Vigyan yagyan ( scientific workshop on general & scientific usefulness of Mother cow & herproducts)
7. Adhyaan yagyan ( exhibition about cow’s economic resources)
Take home message:
“GABAH BISWASYA MATARAM” with all scientific & spiritual reasons is the message to be spread during & after the celebration.People will take home the message that Mother cow is no more a spiritual topic alone.It is however a source of economy also and thus inspiring people to serve GO MATA & protect her in the interest of the Mankind.
