Adarsha Go-Grama means a model village whose socio-economic objective is based around indigenous cow breed. Desi cow is the foundation & lifeline of such a model village.

The purpose of establishing go-grama or model cow-centric village is to make our country prosper & self-dependent. Such a village helps a nation to sustain & protect its core socio-cultural values & economic.

Since Vedic ages, villages were considered to be the building-block of a nation. Economic prosperity of villages used to be primarily dependent on agriculture & cattle rearing. So, if we want to attain that golden ages again, we have focus our effort to re-establish model cow-centric villages. With proper care of indigenous cows, they could be a major earning source. With more milk production, we can enhance production of more milk based products like ghee/butter & sweets etc. that will result in economic prosperity of rural people.

If we re-introduce the use of cow dung, cow urine, bullocks & ploughs in our agricultural process, that will revitalize the soil & environment. We’ll get high quality nutrient-rich crops. Purified crops results in healthy body & purified mind. A pure mind generates high values & principle and with such thought & attitude, our young minds will be self-dependent. Ultimately we can eradicate unemployment & poverty from our nation. When a nation’s economic activities focus solely on cow-centric traditional agriculture & farming, pollution level lessens gradually. We’ll see less number of natural calamities going forward. It has been proved that the presence of indigenous cows & use of more cow products, oxygen level increases in atmosphere. It helps in decreasing the global temperature.

So, the ultimate aim of establishing a model cow-centric village is to create a healthy, disease-free society with economic prosperity & pollution free environment. We only need a strong determination, continuous collective effort & deep respect for gomata.
